SciLife is happy to announce a close cooperation with the student initiative btS. SciLife and btS share common goals: Initiated by students and young scientists, both aim to improve networking amongst scientist and with industry. So, we teamed up to provide our members with the best possible network possibilites.

Biotechnologische Studenteninitiative e. V. (btS) is a German nonprofit organization of more than 400 German graduate and undergraduate students from all life science related areas such as biology, biotechnology, medicine, bioengineering and many more. We are organized in 16 branches all across Germany: Bayreuth, Berlin, Bochum, Braunschweig, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Erlangen, Halle, Heidelberg, Köln, Lübeck, Mainz, München, Münster, Stuttgart and Ulm. Together we interact in the exciting triangle of students, universities and industry. By inviting speakers and presenting biotech enterprises, the whole range of opportunities of jobs and internships as well as scientific topics in the life science area is shown. Our events and projects aim at giving our members and the interested public a deeper insight in todays working life in the public and private sector in the wide variety of Life Sciences related areas.

The ambitious SciLife project was initiated by an interdisciplinary team of research and computer scientists, partly from the University of Heidelberg. Now, we are proud to announce a close cooperation between the University and SciLife. Our platform draws a lot of support through its roots in Heidelberg and will continously focus on mapping the local scientific network. For further information confer to:
