Curriculum Vitae
Born in Coburg (Germany) in 1951. Graduation from University of Konstanz with a master degree in Physics (Dipl.-Phys.) in 1978 and with a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in 1984. Assistant professor at University of Konstanz and scientific associate at CERN Geneva between 1984 and 1989. Research in nuclear solid state physics and in radioecology. Professor at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences from 1989 until 2003; teaching and research in applied physics, radioecology and sensor technology. From 1994 until 2003 President of Coburg University of Applied Sciences, since 2003 professor at Coburg University of Applied Sciences and director of the Institute of Sensor and Actuator Technology.
